We went to check out a new river in Wanli (萬里區) over the weekend. There are apparently two sections that can be traced in this river and we attempted the first part. We came to some falls that would've most likely required ropes to get up and over so we had to backtrack. We found a path that went up through the forest and past the waterfalls. We then came to another set of falls where three people got up and over and three neglected to try .... me being one of those. I can't risk re-injuring myself now when I am so close to recovery. Our group split into two. My group headed back down the trail and back into the river to trace back the way we came. We had lunch somewhere along the river and enjoyed the day out! I would like to head back to the second section of the river which is apparently much easier than the first part!
