Yep. It snowed a bit on the tallest mountain in Taipei in 2009 but before that, I read that Taipei City hasn't seen snow since 1953 ... something like that! The island gets snow most years on the high mountains but never down in the city. The whole of Taipei went nuts! Everyone flocked to the mountains of the city, including myself! It was pretty magical! :D
